Research recently conducted by the San Diego Chamber of Commerce and Mine the Gap has found that women, and minority women to an even greater degree, are underrepresented on Boards and Commissions in the San Diego region. While state laws aim to change such representation on publicly traded boards, we must ensure women are stepping into the pipeline and have the tools they need to do so.
