The Downtown San Diego Partnership Golf Invitational is San Diego’s premier business golf tournament and the ultimate client relations event. This outing is an excellent opportunity to build new business relationships in a casual and fun atmosphere while soaking in the sun and Downtown skyline.

Call for Donations
We invite you to be a part of this fundraising effort by donating an item, voucher, service, or gift certificate to tournament opportunity drawing. Prizes are awarded to participating golfers throughout the day. If you, your company, or a company you work closely with offers a cool service, product, or experience, please consider donating.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I show up?
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tee time.
When is my tee time?
Tee times will be announced one week prior to the tournament.
What if I can’t make my tee time?
If you can’t make it to your tee time, let us know ASAP and we will do our best to accommodate.
How do I get my cart number?
Cart numbers will not be assigned. Golfers will receive a text message on Thursday and Friday reminding you of your tee time. Carts will be cued, labeled, and waiting for golfers when they arrive at the course.
Will the driving range be open?
Yes. Golfers can utilize the driving range before their scheduled tee time. Range balls are complimentary, courtesy of our Driving Range Sponsor.
Will there be food?
All golfers will receive a boxed lunch upon arrival. There will be additional food and snacks on the course.
Will there be beverages?
Each golfer will receive one drink ticket upon arrival. There will be additional beverages on the course.
How are you ensuring our health and safety?
Your health and safety is our top priority! We have modified the format and implemented new policies to ensure a safe and fun afternoon on the course. Learn more under Health and Safety Guidelines (below).
Are there new policies I need to be aware of?
Remember these fore rules and we’re good:
Face coverings are required
Only come to the course if you are feeling well and free of symptoms
Remain spaced 6 feet apart whenever possible
Exercise proper hygiene and sanitize often
Please be sure to read through our health and safety guidelines as well (below). These policies are subject to change based on recommendations from the CDC and the San Diego County Department of Public Health.
How does the scoring work?
Scoring will be done through the app GolfStatus. To download it, visit golfstatus.com/download on your phone or search GolfStatus in your phone’s app store. One person may keep score for the entire foursome given the four-person scramble format.
How will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced following the fundraiser via email.
What does the Golfer Grand Package get me?
The Golfer Grand Package is a must. By purchasing the package, you receive 2 mulligans, entry into course contests with cash prizes, and 20 tickets for the Opportunity Drawing. There are 20+ prizes in the Opportunity Drawing, including hotel stays, restaurant gift certificates, rounds of golf, and more. How does the Mega Ticket Raffle work?
You can enter to win our big-ticket prizes by purchasing raffle tickets in advance or on the day of the tournament. Raffle tickets are $60 for 20 and can be purchased here. Winners will be notified via the scoring app as they approach their final two holes.

HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
Your health and safety are our top priority. We have made modifications to our fundraiser format and implemented new policies to reduce the risk of exposure, allow for physical distancing, and limit contact between golfers. These modifications include:
- Limits on gatherings
- Electronic check-in
- Digital scorecards
- Symptom screening and acknowledgment
- Safe course activations
These modifications are subject to change. Changes will be posted here and rules will be communicated to attendees prior to the tournament.
