The Downtown San Diego Partnership Golf Invitational is San Diego’s premier business golf tournament and the ultimate client relations event. This outing is an excellent opportunity to build new business relationships in a casual and fun atmosphere while soaking in the sun and Downtown skyline.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get my cart number?
Cart numbers will be assigned and provided upon check-in at the course. 

Will the driving range and practice putting green be open?
Yes. Golfers can utilize the driving range and putting green prior to the shotgun start. Range balls are complimentary, courtesy of our Driving Range Sponsor. 

Will there be food?
All golfers will receive a boxed lunch upon arrival. There will be additional food and snacks on the course.

Will there be beverages? 
Each golfer will receive one drink ticket upon arrival. There will be additional beverages on the course.

How are you ensuring our health and safety?
Your health and safety is our top priority! We have modified the format and implemented new policies to ensure a safe and fun afternoon on the course. Learn more under Health and Safety Guidelines (below).

Are there new policies I need to be aware of?
Remember these fore rules and we’re good: 

Face coverings are required
Only come to the course if you are feeling well and free of symptoms
Remain spaced 6 feet apart whenever possible
Exercise proper hygiene and sanitize often

Please be sure to read through our health and safety guidelines as well (below). These policies are subject to change based on recommendations from the CDC and the San Diego County Department of Public Health.

How does the scoring work? 
Scoring will be done through the app GolfStatus. To download it, visit golfstatus.com/download on your phone or search GolfStatus in your phone’s app store. One person may keep score for the entire foursome given the four-person scramble format.

How will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced following the tournament in a brief awards program. 

First, Second and Third Place teams will be awarded with individual trophies and course contest winners will be awarded with prizes!

Will it be fun?
YEP. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – have we ever steered you wrong?! 


HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

Your health and safety are our top priority. We have made modifications to our fundraiser format and implemented new policies to reduce the risk of exposure, allow for physical distancing, and limit contact between golfers. These modifications include:

  • Limits on gatherings
  • Electronic check-in
  • Digital scorecards
  • Symptom screening and acknowledgment
  • Safe course activations

These modifications are subject to change. Changes will be posted here and rules will be communicated to attendees prior to the tournament.
