HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES

Your health and safety is our top priority. We have made modifications to our fundraiser format and implemented new policies to reduce the risk of exposure, allow for physical distancing, and limit contact between golfers. These modifications include:
  • No gatherings: Lunches will be boxed and placed in carts prior to your arrival. Dinner will not be provided and the awards ceremony will be replaced with a digital announcement.
  • Electronic check-in: Golfers will receive an email or text message prompting them to check-in before they arrive at the course. Cart and hole assignments will also be communicated in advance of arrival.
  • Digital scorecards: The fundraiser will use a phone application to track scoring digitally in lieu of physical scorecards. Attendees will be prompted to download the app the week of the event and upon arrival.
  • Stocked carts: Carts will be stocked with personal coolers, snacks, and beverages.
  • Symptom screening and acknowledgment: All attendees will be required to acknowledge and comply with course rules for attendance and participation. An acknowledgment and waiver will be distributed the week of the fundraiser. Temperature checks will be conducted on all individuals upon arrival. The DSDP reserves the right to terminate the attendance of any participant if DSDP believes that the participant presents a safety or health hazard to himself, herself, or others, or if the participant fails to comply with any rules set out by the DSDP or Coronado Municipal Golf Course.
  • Safe course activations: Course activations (hole sponsors, tee box sponsors) will be required to follow the course activation safety guidelines outlined by DSDP.
  • Additional safety measures: Review the 'Golf Course Physical Distancing and Safety Plan' from the County of San Diego here.
*These modifications are subject to change. Changes will be posted here and rules will be communicated to attendees prior to the fundraiser.
