The Diversity Action Committee (DAC) is the Downtown San Diego Partnership’s hub of innovation – an equitable environment where varied ideas, opinions, and perspectives drawn from employees’ diverse experiences are leveraged to take on organizational challenges and opportunities. The focus of the DAC is to promote inclusion, create a system through which employees, members, and stakeholders can exercise their voices, strengthen diversity, equity, and, inclusion (DEI), and recognize contributions. With our unique combination of roles in membership, advocacy and public services, the Downtown Partnership is a true champion for the Downtown market, able to represent the diversity of experiences, neighborhoods, and industries that call our urban neighborhoods home.
The DAC is comprised of Downtown Partnership team members that represent a cross-section of levels and job functions within the organization that have a passion for cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

One of the DAC focus areas is to increase outreach to Diverse businesses and contractors. The DAC is excited to introduce and spotlight diverse members of the Downtown Partnership during our heritage celebrations throughout the year. As diversity and inclusion is a priority initiative, this member spotlight is to showcase and empower diversity through our Membership and Downtown San Diego.
