The Downtown San Diego Partnership is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization that serves as the principal voice and driving force behind the economic prosperity and cultural vitality of Downtown San Diego through membership, advocacy, enhanced services, and community investment.
The Downtown Partnership provides a public service on behalf of Downtown’s neighborhoods as the managing organization for several special districts, including the Clean & Safe program. The Clean & Safe Program is a 501(c)(4) that provides enhanced maintenance and safety services, additional beautification efforts, and marketing over and above the services otherwise available through existing government entities. Clean & Safe services are funded through annual ratepayer assessments levied by the County of San Diego on Downtown property owners.
With its unique combination of roles in membership, advocacy and enhanced services, the Downtown Partnership is a true champion for the Downtown market, able to represent the diversity of experiences, neighborhoods and industries that call Downtown home.
