No. Urban Strategy Services is a separate enterprise that operates independently from the Property & Business Improvement District otherwise known as Clean & Safe.
The Property and Business Improvement District, otherwise known as Clean & Safe, is a special district that collects ratepayer funding to provide enhanced services exclusively to the public realm of properties within the geographic boundaries of the district. Urban Strategy Services takes the lessons learned from the Clean & Safe program and applies them to new, separate customers where the work of the district cannot go including private property in Downtown San Diego and other geographic areas outside of Downtown San Diego.
As a community-based organization, the Downtown San Diego Partnership is proud to bring the same commitment to return on investment that has made us an award-winning steward of taxpayer funding to this new, separate line of services.
