ECO Discounted Transit Pass Program

The current retail price for an MTS Standard Pass is $72. We will offer a 16.1 % discount, which means that the passes for our program will be $60.40 per pass, a savings of $11.60 per pass. We will also offer Premium Express Passes at a 16.5 % discount for $83.50 per pass (they retail for $100).

The Downtown San Diego Partnership administers a discounted transit pass program in partnership with MTS. This program allows organizations with less than 400 participants to receive a discounted rate through the Partnership’s ECO Pass Contract with MTS.

• Discounted Regional Standard Pass: $60.40 per month
  • Retail price: $72.00 – annual savings of $139.20
• Discounted Premium Express Pass: $83.50 per month
  • Retail price: $100.00 – annual savings of $198.00
• Card Replacement: $5.00

Program Timeline:

• July 1 – June 30 (Fiscal year term)

Payment Information:

• Payment due in full before start of term. (ex: 5 passes X $60.40 X 12 months = $3,624)

Routes:

• The Regional pass provides service on most MTS buses, Rapid, Trolley, NCTD SPRINTER and BREEZE.
• The Premium Regional provides the same service as the Regional pass, plus service on MTS Rapid Express routes 280/290
