Now that downtown San Diego has a thriving cluster of digital marketing firms, stakeholders are plotting how to sustain the momentum.The Downtown San Diego Partnership is tapping into the expertise of local firms to raise city’s national profile as a hub for companies that do online marketing. Kris Michell, president and CEO of the nonprofit partnership, has included leaders from a handful of digital agencies in a committee, which will meet later this month to hash out a strategy and tactics.”We don’t think you can have too much of this,” Michell said of digital marketing. “This is the creative class and the future.
