Architect James Brown will be speaking to Friends of San Diego Architecture on Saturday, October 19th, 9:30 am.
You won’t want to miss Brown’s talk about “Roots, Deeds, and Feats”. Brown is recognized for renovating Weber’s Bread Factory into a popular art space known as Bread & Salt and for his part in the LIND project in Little Italy, but his design for Friendship Park at the border, a favorite meeting spot where people from both nations can connect, may be his most rewarding project.
Come early for coffee. The lecture is $5, but students are free. No reservations required.
