The Fleet Science Center invites you to participate in our fourth annual wine-paired dinner and fundraiser. The spectacular evening will feature an auction of fine wines, experience packages and a gourmet wine-paired dinner.

Exploring Italy: A Wine and Culinary Journey

Tickets: $325 per person (Tax deductible portion: $200)
Tables of 10: $5,000 Super Tuscan Table, $3,000 Barolo Table

The evening begins with an elegant reception and silent auction, offering more than 50 lots of unique wines as well as special experience packages with a variety of gift certificates and select items.

Then guests will be treated to a multi-course wine-paired dinner curated by Gary Parker, owner of the WineSellar & Brasserie, and renowned chef Andrew Spurgin. Gary and Andrew are back by popular demand for the fourth year and will once again create a magical and memorable dining experience.

Before the final dessert course is served, guests can support the Fleet Science Center by bidding on live auction items, such as private dinners and travel packages, or raise their paddle to make a donation that will support the education and community programs of the Fleet Science Center.

Why: All proceeds from this event will directly support the Fleet Science Center’s exhibits, education programs and ongoing initiatives. The Fleet is passionate about our mission to realize a San Diego where everyone is connected to the power of science.

Last year’s gala event generated over $200,000 for the Fleet and its extensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programs. Donations from this event help the Fleet reach over 475,000 people throughout San Diego County annually and we are grateful for the generous support that makes this possible.
